Brent recorded the electric guitar in the kitchen of his basement apartment on a Legend amp. Legend amps were pretty unique because, instead of having a cloth grille covering, they had a wicker front protecting the speaker. In order to get the speaker to work, I had to "pop" it by hooking it up to my stereo and cranking it. Only then would the amp put sound through the speaker. Not surprisingly, this amp caught fire later on in life and was sold at a garage sale.
